9 genre-spanning tracks that reflect the singer-songwriter’s eclectic tastes
Mike Posner has earned a reputation as a musical chameleon who bounces from one genre to the next. With the pop hit “Cooler Than Me” to and his dance club smash “I Took A Pill In Ibiza,” Posner remains relevant thanks to his passion for songwriting and a willingness to take chances. That thoughtfulness extends into Posner’s his life outside of music: He’s the host of the philosophical podcast “What Does It All Mean?”, which Posner launched after the death of his father. That loss also served as the inspiration for his Posner’s upcoming album, due in January.
When it comes to his healthy routine, Posner sums it up with the following three steps: “I meditate twice per day. I sweat once per day. I turn my phone off one day per week.” In celebration of his latest chapter and new track “Song About You,” the singer-songwriter crafted a playlist that’s much like Posner himself: fun, deep, and wildly varied.
