Jalapeño adds spice to this honey-infused faux cocktail.

Made from the cannabis plant, CBD has relaxing, anti-inflammatory properties without delivering that high feeling. When it’s infused in easily digestible honey, it also provides healing antioxidants, says Laura Rege, a New York City-based recipe developer. Blended with spicy jalapeño, sweet apple juice, and citrusy lemon, this mocktail is the perfect way to chill out post-workout.

2 cups cold-pressed or freshly juiced red apple juice
4 teaspoons raw CBD or hemp honey (such as Beekeeper’s Naturals B. Chill Hemp Honey Sticks)
1 jalapeño, cut into 12 thin slices and seeds removed
4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice


In a cocktail shaker, shake the apple juice with the CBD honey, 8 of the jalapeño slices, and the lemon juice until the honey is dissolved.
Fill the shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until the juice is ice cold. Strain into four martini glasses. Top each with a jalapeño slice.
