DIY Almond Milk

Dates add natural sweetness to the dairy-free drink.

  • 2 cups blanched slivered almonds
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Soak the almonds in ½ cup water for 30 minutes, then drain.

  2. In a high-powered blender, add 3 cups of water, almonds, dates, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt and pulse until combined (about 1 to 2 minutes).

  3. Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 10 days.
