Cherry coconut yogurt bites

These healthy treats require just four ingredients.

“I love combining fresh cherries with probiotic-rich Greek yogurt for an icy, protein-packed treat after summer workouts,” says Natalie Rizzo, a registered dietician based in New York City. The fruit is known to be high in antioxidants and recent research suggests that tart cherry juice may reduce soreness after an intense strength training routine.

Serves 5

½ cup Bing or Rainier cherries, pitted
2 5.3-ounce containers of unsweetened coconut Greek or Skyr yogurt
1 tablespoon agave

In a food processor, puree the cherries.

In a small bowl, mix together the yogurt and agave.

Using a muffin tin, add a spoonful of yogurt mixture to one of the muffin holes. Add a spoonful of cherries on top of the yogurt mixture. Cover with another spoonful of yogurt. Repeat four times.

Freeze for at least two hours, then enjoy.
