My NYFW guide: SoHo according to David Helwani

Sceney and laidback eateries:

Breakfast: "My go-tos for breakfast are La Mercerie, Mercer Kitchen, and Miss Lily's."

Lunch: "While there is barely any time to eat lunch with such a tight schedule, I generally grab something quick at Sweetgreen or Westville."

Dinner: "Dinners are a whole different situation. The regulars on my list are Via Carota, Bar Pitti, and Ruby's. If you want the best pizza, the Diavola at Pasquale Jones never disappoints."

"With all the craziness that goes on during fashion week, I appreciate a good mix of sceney and laidback spots."

Rooftop bars and the occasional comedy show:

"Soho House is a great after-show spot, along with Spring Studios, since many of the shows are held there now. They have one of the best rooftops in the city. Other low-key options are The Garret in the West Village and Peppi's Cellar at Gran Tivoli. Admittedly, I like to bring some out-of-towners to the Comedy Cellar for a fashion week reprieve and a couple of drinks."

Workouts at Equinox SoHo:

"I generally work out five days a week at Equinox SoHo. Two of those days will focus on cardio with runs of three to four miles and some leg work and ab exercises. The other three days will encompass targeted exercises for chest/biceps, shoulders/triceps, and back/core. It's always fun to see who's in town from all over the world during fashion week." 

"[Equinox] seems to be the morning congregating center for everyone in our fashion world.

Walking down (NYFW) memory lane:

"The first memory that comes to mind is [the] Alexander Wang [show] in Brooklyn a couple years back. I always had an affinity for Helmut Lang when it was helmed by Michael and Nicole Colovos. Also Yeezy Season 3 at MSG, which was more of a concert than a traditional runway show, but definitely something to be experienced."
