Co-vocalist Noelle Scaggs shares a 10-track lineup and her abs workout.
To stay grounded while touring, Noelle Scaggs, co-vocalist of the pop-soul group Fitz and the Tantrums, employs myriad techniques: She explores nature with her dog Marley, plows through books, and listens to meditative music at bedtime. Known for a string of horn-focused tracks like “Handclap” and “Don’t Gotta Work It Out,” the band is currently on tour in advance of their forthcoming album, All the Feels. It comes out on September 20 and includes a lineup of high-energy songs, like the album’s title hit and the newly-released single “I Just Wanna Shine.”
“My workout routine on the road is simple since I am doing so much cardio on stage,” explains Scaggs. “It consists of four reps of various ab-targeting exercises. I do it for 20 minutes, two to three times a week. I also do lots of stretching.”
