This annual festival takes place in Cornwall, the U.K.’s surfing capital. Attendees can watch pros compete, enjoy surfing, bodyboarding, and stand-up paddleboarding classes, and practice yoga on the beach. Wu-Tang Clan, Florence + The Machine, and Foals are slated to perform.

Explore Outside Lands

August 9 to 11

San Francisco’s largest and most anticipated music festival returns to Golden Gate Park this month. Headliners include Childish Gambino, Kacey Musgraves, and Paul Simon but expect more than just concerts. There will also be stand-up comedy and a speaker series called D.A.V.E. (Discussions About Virtually Everything).
