The songs that will motivate her to run every morning she's on tour

When Emily Kinney’s character, Beth Green, was killed off in season five of The Walking Dead, her second life as an indie-pop artist was just getting started. In addition to continuing to act in shows like Masters of Sex and Ten Days in the Valley, Kinney released a string of country-influenced pop albums, including her latest, “Dear Jonathan,” which came out in August.

Now the 33-year-old actress-turned-singer is kicking off her second tour with 40 dates in North America. While she’ll be spending her nights on stage, she plans on using her days to stay healthy. “Last tour, my other bandmates and I would do 100 jumping jacks every time we stopped for gas or snacks,” she says. “I’m going to try to get up before van call every morning to run for at least 30 minutes. It helps me get in a good mood.” Hear the 12 tracks that motivate her for those early workouts below.
