Seedy Cauliflower Toast
Hemp hearts provide nutty flavor and protein.
To elevate this breakfast, Lauren Blake, RD, a Columbus, Ohio-based recipe developer, tops it sunflower seeds and hemp hearts. The former can help with hormonal health, while the latter are “rich in gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which has been shown to help decrease inflammation.” Blake opts to use edamame hummus but you use any kind you prefer.

- 2 slices cauliflower toast
- 4 tablespoons store-bought edamame hummus
- 2 teaspoons hemp hearts
- 2 tablespoons unsalted sunflower seeds
- Sea salt
Place cauliflower toast and hummus in two separate airtight containers and store in the fridge. Combine hemp hearts and sunflower seeds in another airtight container and store at room temperature.

Place the cauliflower toast in the toaster until warm. Top with edamame hummus, hemp hearts, and sunflower seeds. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
