Ras el Hanout Spice Blend

  • 1 tablespoon cumin
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground clove
  • 2 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander seed
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon salt


  1. In a small bowl, whisk all ingredients together. Place spice mixture in a skillet over medium-high heat and toast until fragrant, about two minutes. Remove from heat and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
