Garlic Tahini

Yields 1 cup

This easy sauce recipe from the chef duo behind The Modern Proper is rich in vitamins B and C, potassium, and methionine, an essential amino acid that promotes tissue growth and repair.  


  • ½ cup tahini
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt


  1. In a small bowl, combine all ingredients with ⅓ cup warm water and whisk until smooth. Store in refrigerator in an airtight container for up to a week.
