Easy labne recipe

This healthy condiment only requires Greek yogurt.

"Labne is a protein-rich Middle Eastern spread made with Greek yogurt," says Katzie Guy-Hamilton, chef and director of food and beverage and Equinox. "Because it's strained to remove the whey, it has a thicker consistency."

Ingredients

16 ounces of 2% Greek yogurt

Directions

Place yogurt in a fine mesh strainer, a colander with a cheesecloth, or an almond milk mesh bag.

Hang over a bowl to drain overnight for 12 to 16 hours in the fridge.

Remove from strainer and store in an airtight container in the fridge.
