Unzipped: Christos Garkinos
The boutique owner and budding Bravo star unpacks his gym bag.
Today, Christos Garkinos is a fashion expert and co-owner of luxury consignment boutique Decades in Los Angeles. Tomorrow, he will be a reality TV star (his new show Dukes of Melrose premieres tonight on Bravo). Which means his six-days-a-week 6 a.m. gym visits might start to cause a bit more of a commotion. Good thing his look is certifiably camera-ready:
"I am truly a fashion boy so I take my Goyard bag to the gym. It's so versatile: if I'm leaving for a quick trip I just pack and go from my workout to the airport."
Givenchy Rottweiler t-shirt
"I often work out in my Givenchy Rottweiler t-shirt. Kinda keeps people away. Really, I'm nice!"
"I hike Runyon Canyon and I wear these glove feet contraptions. The first time was a real experience. My dog was even perplexed. Now it's easy breezy."
"I am a big fan of TRX. I take the straps with me on the road and get my fix anywhere."
Lululemon trainer pant
"I am a 6 am workout guy, so I always throw on some Lululemon situation like these trainer pants to ward off the LA cold."
Old school R&B
"I am a huge music freak. I love old school R&B to get my workout going. The Dazz Band, Teena Marie, and Jody Watley are some of my favorites."
Noir de Noir Cologne by Tom Ford
"Tom Ford can do no wrong. I carry a travel size of his cologne to give myself that extra spritz post-workout."
Anastasia's Cooling Eye Brightener
"Anastasia, the brow queen, is my cousin! I use the cooling eye brighterner for post-workout, when I have a do-a-shoot kind of day."
