It seems there is a new activewear line launching every day. And while we love to have options aplenty for the gym, it’s becoming overwhelming to sort through the fitness fashion brands that offer not only high design, but excellent functionality as well. Here, we’ve sifted through some of the coolest new designer activewear lines, including the latest from Tory Burch and Derek Lam, out there right now and highlighted a few that you’re going to want to have on your radar.
The collection of spandex sports bras, leggings, and jumpsuits draws on Mara Hoffman signatures, utilizing her famous bold prints and cutouts. You will be hard to miss at the gym in these eye-catching pieces, ranging in price from $108 to $324, available now on marahoffman.com. Sidenote for yogis: There's a printed yoga mat ($98) made to match the collection that you’re not going to want to pass up.
Tory Burch's latest addition to her empire is this athleisurewear line, Tory Sport. The collection is set to officially debut for Fall 2015. Think: Tory Burch’s ready-to-wear line, but made with Lycra and reflective elements. The goods include gear for tennis, golf, yoga, running, and of course, coming-and-going (the athleisure market’s most popular category these days). Prices range from $55 to $550. The line will be available online this fall and in a new store opening in NYC next year.
Fabletics x Stash
Fabletics, the activewear line helmed by Kate Hudson, joined forces with graffiti artist Stash on a collection of new prints for the brand. (Stash, for the record, exhibited some of his first pieces alongside the likes of Keith Haring and Basquiat.) His wearable art for Fabletics, available in men’s and womenswear, comes in the form of brightly printed pants, sports bras, tank tops, t-shirts, shorts, duffle bags, and more. The collection is available now on fabletics.com
Derek Lam 10C Athleta
Launching this September in Athleta stores and on the brand’s website, Derek Lam’s lifestyle collection will include items for the gym and beyond, ranging from leggings and sports bras to jackets and dresses. Prices start at $58 and go up to $388. If the early snapshots we spied of the pieces are anything like the rest of the range, this is set to be one of the chicer athliesure collaborations we’ve seen in a while. Mark your calendars now.
